What is tallow skincare?

Tallow skincare is made with rendered beef tallow, a traditional ingredient that has been used for generations. It is naturally rich in skin-friendly fats and contains naturally occurring fat-soluble vitamins such as vitamins A, D, E and K.

What can I use your cooking tallow for?

Our cooking tallow is great for frying, roasting, baking and everyday cooking. It gives food a lovely traditional flavour and is a good alternative to many processed cooking fats.

How is your tallow made?

We take our time with the rendering process to clean and purify the fat properly. Our tallow is three times rendered to give you a clean, smooth and versatile product.

What is in your tallow?

Our pure beef tallow contains 100% beef suet. We keep it simple — just the way we like it.

How long can I store your tallow?

Because our tallow is pure beef fat and is three times rendered, it can be stored for a long time when kept properly. Store it in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and always use a clean, dry utensil when handling it.

Why are vitamins A, D, E and K found in tallow?

These vitamins naturally occur in beef fat. Vitamin E, in particular, is known for its antioxidant properties, while vitamins A, D and K are naturally present in varying amounts. The exact levels can vary depending on the fat and how it is processed.

Pure, well-rendered tallow has very little to no noticeable smell. We take our time and gently render it at a low temperature to create a clean, mild and neutral-smelling tallow.
